After a recent bump on the head, LA Clippers superstar Blake Griffin left the Staples Center arena and drove immediately to a local soccer stadium, ran onto the field and joined the ongoing game.
“We didn’t want to say anything to him, or complain about it,” said Raul Alvarez, the coach of the minor-league soccer team, Los Tigres. “I mean, have you ever seen how huge that guy is up close? Besides, he is the best forward we’ve ever had.”
The Los Tigres solved the problem of Blake’s constantly palming the soccer ball and slam dunking it over the net by telling him they wanted him to emphasize his footwork for the upcoming season.
